Where does the time go.... This blog was originally going to be about my adventure of being a single parent of a handicapped child, working full time and going back to school. It was a long bumpy road but, I graduated, found what I thought was the perfect job...and my daughter grew up.

Things have changed drastically since I was last here. That perfect job I thought I had... turned out not to be so perfect... and slowly one by one all the people I worked with originally gave notice and left... I don't know why I stayed on so long, every time someone left I was assigned part of their duties since they were not replacing the people that were leaving... This job was really wrecking havoc on my life, my health... I was getting sick all the time.. I wasn't sleeping well and my hair started to fall out by the handfuls... there were a few other things but it was time leave. .. I excepted a new job... gave notice.... last day at old job was March 3rd 2014. Heard from new job Feb 24 2014 that contract was not going to be renewed and there actually was no job... so sorry...

My question is... if this is supposed to be a bad thing? A wrong turn...? A run of bad luck? Why am I secretly over joyed... That whole week leading up to March 3rd I could have asked for my old job back, they were not hiring anyone to replace me... but every time (it wasn't many) I thought about it.. I felt ill.

Over the last week I have really evaluated what is important to me and loosing my health over a stupid job is not worth it... It is time for change and getting back to what is important. Spending time with family and friends.. It's time to start my own business doing what I love. Sewing, crafting and vintage patterns.

More to come in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks
